Background
One of the widely sought after adventure sports around the world, rafting has somehow made its way in the bucket list of countless adventurers and thrill-seekers. This thrilling sport involves riding the fast-flowing river through its winding rapids, stunning gorges, and pleasant landscapes. And while not all rafting session involves stunning views, rafting here in Nepal does. Home to countless stunning rivers, the nation has always been a hotspot for rafters of all kind including those searching for their first adventure.
Trishuli Rafting
One of the most popular rivers throughout the nation, the stunning Trishuli River has always been the go-to place for your first rafting adventure. Easier rapids, stunning gorges, and pleasant hilly landscapes mean that your adventure will be focused more on enjoying the experience rather than being afraid or calming your nerves. But for the more experienced rafters, the River does offer some amazing rapids to navigate through. Graded from 4 to 4+ depending on the season the target audience for each season differs with beginners preferring spring or summer while rainy seasons attract a whole different crowd. Located at a distance of 84.3kms west from the valley, the stunning whitewater ride is accessible from either Pokhara or Kathmandu and depending on your situation pick up and drop off will be arranged accordingly.
Bhotekoshi Rafting
Regarded as one of the best white water rafting throughout the world, the stunning Bhotekoshi River gives a proper introduction to the amazing world of rafting. Targeted to a more experienced population, the steepest river rafted within Nepal is a journey of full-on commitment and not one you would want to take your eyes away from. The diverse set of rapids graded from 4+ to 5-, the river boasts impressive rapids, wide gorges and a thrill to match the stunning landscapes. And while rainy seasons upgrades the experience, it is only for the experienced to make the trip. Even on its own, rafting at Bhotekoshi packs a punch filled with adrenaline and thrill rarely mirrored by other rivers. Located on the sides of the Araniko Highway, you can take the trip from either Pokhara or Kathmandu.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Charaudi via Malekhu |3-4 Hours| drive; Rafting in the Trishuli River for |3- 4 hours
Today is the first day of our journey and as per your pick up point, we either begin from Pokhara or Kathmandu. Choosing Kathmandu as the starting point means that we head west on the Prithvi Highway exiting the valley through Naubise and past Malekhu to reach Charaudi. However, setting off from Pokhara means that the journey follows the Prithvi Highway east following the Trishuli River to Charaudi Bridge. The journey from either side takes over 3 to 4 hours taking us alongside stunning natural landscapes. After taking a quick rest at the river banks, we commence the rafting trip. The rapids in Trishuli are Class 2 and Class 3 rapids. They are extremely powerful so it is better that you apply proper care and caution. After completing the rafting, we shall set our camps at the riverside and make a campfire. Overnight in Trishuli.

Day 02: Drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara
Depending on your exit point for your trek, we set off early from Charaudi towards either Kathmandu or Pokhara. Retracing our steps through the Prithvi Highway, we make our way back to Kathmandu or Pokhara and thus ending our adventures. Day 01: 3 Hrs Drive to Sukute from Kathmandu and O/N stay
The journey starts from Kathmandu and heads towards Sukute by following the winding bends of the Araniko highway. Through the stunning city of Bhaktapur, the journey takes us to Sukute beach which sits on the banks of the Bhotekoshi River. We end our day by enjoying a quiet evening walk by the riverside and simultaneously enjoying the stunning views of the sunset. Overnight in Sukute.

Day 02: 4 Hrs rafting in Bhotekoshi River after lunch drive back to Kathmandu
An early start to the day, we make our way to the rafting point beginning our adventure through the winding bends of the Bhote Koshi River. One of the best short whitewater rafting trips around the river is targeted more towards an experienced group of rafters. For about 4 hours, the thrilling adventure takes us from one bend to another and gives us an amazing picture of the surrounding gorges and hilly vistas. After completing this journey, we drive back to Kathmandu and spend the remaining day there. Overnight in Kathmandu.
