9 Days Lucknow to Lucknow Mount Kailash Helicopter Yatra is one of the best Yatra. In this busy world devoted of Lord Shiva are eager to go to have Darshan of Mount Kailash by heart but due to short holiday and limited budget they are unable to go .So giving concentrate on time limit and budget we Miteri Nepal international Trekking Pvt.Ltd offers this excursion in April,May, June, July, August and September which are the best time for Darshan. The main attraction of this journey is to have a Parikrima of Mount Kailash, Lake Mansarovar, Yama Dwar, Rakshes Tal, dipping in the Holy Lake Mansarovar and have Puja.
Risk and Liabilities:
We will endeavour to make your journey smooth and pleasant as possible. However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China Tibet Tourism Bureau, Peoples Army and Foreign Affair. related organisation will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, and Political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, Delay due to shortage of Land Cruiser Jeep in Tibet, sickness or Accident. Any extra cost that shall be borne by traveler themselves.
Document:
Minimum 6 months valid passport scanned colour passport copy both front and back at the time of booking and two copies of pp size 33x 48mm white back ground, covering both Ears, fresh colour-full photograph & original physical passport must be reached at Delhi office, before 8 days of your departure to Kathmandu . A normal health certificate from your personal doctor to those who are 50 years and above by age.
Fitness:
This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult to their doctor. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.
Food
During Yatra we provide fresh cooked pure vegetarian meals cooked by our sherpa staff and cook .Beside that we advice you to bring dry fruits and cookies to have personally .
Temperatures
As the temperature varies greatly between day and night (from max. 20 degrees Celsius to min. -16 degrees Celsius) one should prepare accordingly.
Bring the following items with you:
Woollen gloves, Balaclava, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woollen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirt & Trekking shoes,Towel ,down jackets .
Insurance:
Full travel insurance coverage for medicine, Helicopter evacuation if in case of emergency, lost of belongs, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended
Trip booking:
Minimum 45 days advance booking is required to arrange visa approval and Travel permit issue. We need 70% Tour payment before 45 days of your departure date and rest you can pay after visa .
Tour Cancellation policy
- All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in written.
- Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.
- 30 days before trip departure 15% of total trip cost.
- 15 days before trip departure 45 % of total trip cost.
- 7 days before trip departure 70 % of total trip cost.
- 3 days before trip departure 80 % of total trip cost.
- Once client arrive in Kathmandu no refund will be made
- Above rules are applicable as per the rules and regulation of Tibet Autonomous Region Foreign Exchange Center. (FEC )

- If someone would like to go to Muktinath then the itinerary will be added as per the route @ INR 35500 / USD 780 (4 Nights / 5 Days)

NOTE:-
- Passport must be valid for six months from the date of departure. Age Limit for Yatra 10 – 70 Years for Indians (Year of Birth shall be 1950 irrespective of any Month). But, from this as per Chinese government rules, if the 70 & above years old client want to visit Kailash Mansarovar they have to deposit extra USD 1000/- extra as liquidity damage to FEC. If the client return back to their home without having any health problem. FEC will fully refund your deposited money.
- Recommendation for Indians: Please Issue Air Tickets for Kathmandu; as per Name on your Voter ID (You Must Carry ORIGINAL VOTER ID to FLY Kathmandu.
- For Indian Passport Holders – Original Passport required 8 working Days prior to travel date at Delhi office for Visa Purpose
- Foreigners / NRI: Original passport require Min. 3 working days prior to travel date in Kathmandu for Visa purpose

Day 01: Lucknow – Nepalgunj
Morning at our representing time you have to arrive at Bus station in the Lucknow or at airport as per our discussion point. The driving distance from Lucknow to Nepalgunj about 4 hrs. Upon arrival at station you will be receive by our driver then transfer to Nepalgunj. On arrival at hotel you will be check in and free for refresh. In the evening, our Tour Leader will brief you shortly about this trip and at the same time we will distribute duffel bags and all.
Overnight at hotel in Nepalgunj. ( Dinner) -
Day 02: Nepalgunj-Simikot (by aircraft) – Hilsa (by helicopter) drive to Taklakot
Today, early in the morning you will fly to Simikot. the flight of Simikot leaves at around 6.00 am, if the weather is clear in all places (Nepalgunj, en route and Simikot). Delay by an hour OR two is quite normal in this sector. So, passengers are requested not be panic. The flight requires about an hour to reach Simikot. Our representative in Simikot will guide for completing immigration formalities and then arrange charter Helicopter to fly Hilsa (Nepal border), our local representative in Hilsa will receive you and lead to his house (tea shop). Here, you have to halt until all group members arrive. Travellers are requested to have patient and let us arrange everything smoothly because we have to wait our Tibetan guide to come border to receive us along with all permit and military formalities which may takes few time to receive us. After we cross the border to Tibet and it takes about an hour to reach Taklakot (Purang – 3700 m.) by drive from Taklakot (China border).
Overnight Hotel (triple sharing room with attached bathroom).Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour (by Twin otter aircraft OR Dronier aircraft with 18 seats)
If the weather is not good in Simikot OR en route to Simikot, the flight will be canceled
Simikot to Hilsa: 15 minutes by B2 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 5 or 6 seats
Hilsa to Sher trek: 10 minutesSher to Taklakot drive: 1 hour by bus

Day 03: Free Day for Acclimatization
Today you will rest in Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization with light walking around Taklakot town to adjust your body with Tibet climate.As we all know that accalimization is also equally importatnt to the traveller who are travelling from to temperature to cold . Day 04: Purang – Lake Manasarovar (Chiu Gompa) – 4,560M.
After the early breakfast you will depart for Lake Manasarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa).Today is the most important day of our trip because we will reach at our destiny ,Hold Mt.Kailash . The driving distance between Taklakot Mansarovar is approximately 2 hours . On the way, we will take a short break in Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) to see the beautiful views of Rakshas Taal with back ground view of Holy Mount Kailash. Pilgrims can have a Puja & Hawan at the homage to Mt. Kailash & Manasarovar as per their own religious way in Lake Manasarovar. Day 05: Mansarovar – Darchen (4750m)
After morning breakfast you will drive towards Darchen. It is as known as base camp of Mt. Kailash. If the weather is clear you can see beautiful peak of holy mountain Kailash. Overnight at Hotel (B/L/D)

Day 06: Darchen – Dirapuk (4,780m) via Dolma La Pass (5600 m) Early morning ,start uphill trekking to Dolma-La (5600 m).
Today after your breakfast you will drive 10 km it is auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash. Yama Dwar is the place, from where the group, normally, splits in two parts. Some members will start Parikrama and some will return back to Darchen and wait for those members who have gone for Parikrama. Members who are joining Parikrama ,will start trekking from “Yama Dwar” to Diraphuk. The trail is quite easy & flat. You have to cross the river a couple of time, other than this, it is quite easy day today. Roughly, you will be crossing 14 km today and it takes around 5 hours. Members who are staying in the Dirapuk , After having Darshan from Yamadwar, you will be returning back to Darchen and wait for those who have gone for Parikrama. Day 07: Diraphuk – Zuthulphuk (4,780m) – Dolma La Pass (5600 m) Early morning ,start uphill trekking to Dolma-La (5600 m).
Today is the tough day of this journey. The entire trail up to Dolma-La is ascending steepy cliff. The holiest water pool (glacial lake – Gauri Kunda) is just situated beyond the Dolma-La. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the sole mate of Lord Shiva takes bath. From Dolma-La the trail rapidly deciding to the valley floor (Zuthulphuk). Overnight at Guest House (B/L/D)

Day 08: Zutulphuk – Simikot-Finish Trek near Darchen & Drive back to Purang and continue exit to Hilsa/Simikot.
After breakfast you will trek 2 hours to reach Darchen as soon as you reach you will catch the vehicle and drive back to Taklakot to cross the border. Once you completed both side immigration formalities you will walk about 10 minutes to reach Heli pad at Hilsa and fly to Simikot for Overnight Stay at Guest House. (B/L/D)

Day 09: Hilsa/Simikot (Heli) –fly to Nepalgunj (fixed wing aircraft) – Lucknow
early in the morning after your breakfast you will get ready to fly towards Nepalgunj. On arrival our at Nepalgunj Airport our representative will receive and put you in vehicle to departure for Lucknow.
