This trip is more expensive as compare to other and Luxurious too. In this trip Lhasa to Saga part meals will be served in tea house basis. But whereas from Saga and during your Kailash Parikrama return back to Saga hygienic Vegetarians meals will be served by our company team members. Risk and Liabilities:
We will endeavour to make your journey smooth and pleasant as possible. However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China Tibet Tourism Bureau, Peoples Army and Foreign Affair. related organisations will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, and Political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, Delay due to shortage of Land Cruiser Jeep in Tibet, sickness or Accident. Any extra cost that shall be borne by traveler themselves.

 

Document:
Minimum 6 months valid passport scanned colour passport copy both front and back at the time of booking and two copies of pp size 33x 48mm white back ground, covering both Ears, fresh colour-full photograph  & original physical passport must be reached at Delhi office, before 8 days of your departure to Kathmandu . A normal health certificate from your personal doctor to those who are 50 years and above by age.

 

Fitness:
This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult to their doctor. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.

 

Food
During Yatra we provide fresh cooked pure vegetarian meals cooked by our sherpa staff and cook .Beside that we advice you to bring dry fruits and cookies to have personally.

 

Temperatures
As the temperature varies greatly between day and night (from max. 20 degrees Celsius to min. -16 degrees Celsius) one should prepare accordingly.

 

Bring the following items with you:
Woollen gloves, Balaclava, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woollen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirt & Trekking shoes,Towel ,down jackets .

 

Insurance:
Full travel insurance coverage for medicine, Helicopter evacuation if in case of emergency, lost of belongs, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended

 

Trip booking:
Minimum 45 days advance booking is required to arrange visa approval and Travel permit issue. We need 70% Tour payment before 45 days of your departure date  and rest you can pay after visa .

 

Tour Cancellation policy

  • All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in written.
  • Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.
  • 30 days before trip departure 15% of total trip cost.
  • 15 days before trip departure 45 % of total trip cost.
  • 7 days before trip departure 70 % of total trip cost.
  • 3 days before trip departure 80 % of total trip cost.
  • Once client arrive in Kathmandu no refund will be made
  • Above rules are applicable as per the rules and regulation of Tibet Autonomous Region Foreign Exchange Center. (FEC )

 

ALTERNATIVE TRIP

 

If someone would like to go to Muktinath then the itinerary will be added as per the route @ INR 35500 / USD 780 (4 Nights / 5 Days)

Mountain Flight: Morning 6:00 AM in Kathmandu @ INR 8500 / USD 210

 

NOTE:
Passport must be valid for six months from the date of departure. Age Limit for Yatra 10 – 70 Years for Indians (Year of Birth shall be 1950 irrespective of any Month). But, from this as per Chinese government rules, if the 70 & above years old client want to visit Kailash Mansarovar they have to deposit extra USD 1000/- extra as liquidity damage to FEC. If the client return back to their home without having any health problem. FEC will fully refund your deposited money.

 

Recommendation for Indians: Please Issue Air Tickets for Kathmandu; as per Name on your Voter ID (You Must Carry ORIGINAL VOTER ID to FLY Kathmandu)

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300 m)

    On arrival at Kathmandu(Tribhuvan International Airport) our representative will be waiting to welcome & pick the group either on Bus/Car/Van according to the size of group. And transfer you to the Hotel (twin sharing bed room). Evening group briefing and orientation about the Yatra. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D)

  •  Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

    After the morning breakfast we will explore to the Pashupatinath Temple Darshan, Guheshowri and Boudhanath Stupa while completing our sightseeing; return back to Hotel. Have a Lunch and free time for shopping and currency change. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D).

  • Day 03: Kathmandu-Lhasa (3650m) Gonggar Airport

    After the delicious breakfast drive towards Tribhuvan International Airport before 3 hours of our flight from Hotel. Upon arrival at Gonggar airport, Our Tibetan guide will let you fulfill immigration formalities and take you to world’s highest capital city Lhasa it is 62 Kilometer from the Gongar airport. Afternoon visit JOKHANG MONESTARY shrine of Budha Sakyamuni and walk around Barkhor Circle, it is busting of Tibetan handicraft and costume. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D)

  • Day 04.Lhasa Sightseeing:

    Today we will visit POTALA PALACE, former Palace of HH the Dalai Lama and 17th

    Century POTALA PALACE offers an awesome view of entire city and also has private quarters of the Dalai Lama, numerous grand state rooms and chapels. NORBULINGKA PALACE, the summer Palace of His holiness (B/L/D) Overnight stay at Hotel

  •  Day 05: Lhasa –Shigatse (3,900m) 318km

    After morning breakfast we will drive approximately 5 hrs to get second largest city of Tibet Shigatse and visit Panchen Lama’s Tashi Lhamo monastery with other monasteries. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D)

  • Day 06: Shigatse-Saga 470 km (4250m)

    Today after the refreshment and breakfast we will drive towards Saga which takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach Saga and acclimatize. Overnight stay at Hotel. (B/L/D)

  • Day 07: Saga- Mansarovar Lake.

    As usual after the breakfast we will drive towards Mansarovar it’s about 430 km in distance from saga and takes 5-6 hrs drive. Today you can have explorations of Holy Mansarovar Lake you will spend the whole day around the lake. Overnight stay at guest House in Mansarovar (B/L/D)

  •  Day 08: Mansarovar Parikrama-to Darchen (4575m)

    Early in the morning you will be free for Puja and bath in the holy Lake Mansarovar. After Lunch drive towards Darchen making Parikrama of Holy Lake Mansarovar clockwise. Overnight stay at Guest House (B/L/D)

  •  Day 09: Darchen – Dirapuk (4,670m)

    Today is the first day of our Parikrama. After the morning breakfast drive to Yama Dwar (30 minutes 8 km) and start our Parikrama to Dirapuk (North face of Kailash) by trek. It takes approximately 6 hours walk .Overnight stay at Guest house (B/L/D)

  • Day 10: Dirapuk (4,670m) –Zutulpuk

    This day is very sensitive because you will ascend trek to Dolma La Pass (5670m) and afternoon descend down to the Gaurikunda. And the weather in the Dolma La Pass is unpredictable it might be changed any time and start to snow storms. So be very careful. Our last journey of trek will be Zutulpuk along the river bank. (22km)(9hours). Overnight stay at Guest house in Zutulpuk (B/L/D)

  • Day 11: Zutulpuk-Saga.

    Today we will Trek to Trangsar Maniwalls and end the parikrama-8km. Our vehicles will be waiting for us at the ending point of parikrama and drive to Saga. Overnight stay at Guest house (B, L, D)

  • Day 12: Saga-Shigatse.

    After the breakfast we will drive to Shigatse. The distance between Paryang to Shigatse is 680 km that takes approximately 8-9 hours’ drive. Overnight stay at Hotel (B, L, D)

  • Day 13: Shigatse –Lhasa

    After the morning refreshment and breakfast we will drive towards Lhasa .Today we have to drive about 271km which take 6-7 hours overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa. (B/L/D)

  • Day 14: Lhasa-Kathmandu

    After morning breakfast the Tibetan guide will take us to the Gonggar Airport for Kathmandu Departure. Flight to Kathmandu, on arrival our representative will pick you and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D)

  • Day 15: Departure

    Certificate of completion will be provided to you from Miteri Nepal Int’l Trekking (P) Ltd. You will be free till your flight time. We will drop you at Airport 3 hour before flight time (30 min drive) (Breakfast).
