Millennium Trek is one of such culturally rich and geographically alluring trekking adventure in Nepal. The marvelous adventure is situated in the western region of Nepal, distributing itself between southern Pokhara and northern Walling Bazaar. The trail is less crowded, thus preserving the beauty and secrecy of the region. In the lap of the Annapurna Himalayan range, the Millennium trek boasts an adventure none of the other alternatives can provide. With a wide variety of flora and fauna, breathtaking landscapes, and authentic cultural diversity, the Millennium trek is one of the greatest jewels of Nepal. The panoramic view of snowcapped mountains ranging from far western Kanjirowa to Ganesh Himal in central Nepal enhances the trail with a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere.

 

The 10 days cultural journey begins after you drive to Gachhaepani in the Bhimad municipality from the capital city Kathmandu. The trekking experience begins from the next day when you head towards Rajsthal. The Kings Landing of ancient time, Rajsthal is decorated with the ruins of ancient history and culture. You then head towards culturally rich villages like Pokharai Chhap and Pelkachaur via forested landscapes of Ghaderi.  You begin your journey towards Majhkot, which is the highest point of our overall adventure at an altitude of 1,602 m. The final trekking day ends at Rambachha via the Hindu pilgrim site of Gahate Manakamana. You then drive to Pokhara with some sightseeing of the lake city before finally returning to Kathmandu. The amazing sunrise view from Kolmakot, exploration of natural waterfall Millennium cave, and a wide variety of flora and fauna make the trip a great one. You get in touch with several ethnic groups and their culture including Brahmins, Chhetri, Gurung, Magar, and Dalits. The ideal journey and cultural experience with the vista of Himalayas make the Millennium Trek a fascinating and impressive adventure.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu-Gachhaepani/Dhulegauda (entry from Bhimad before reaching Pokhara)

    After breakfast, we begin our journey from Kathmandu. We travel through the twisting roads of Prithvi national highway alongside the Trishuli River. The beautiful hilly landscapes and view of rural Nepal accompany us in the journey. We head towards Bhimad municipality leaving Trishuli River and going alongside the raging Marsayangdi River. We reach Gachhaepani in about 6-7 hours. Overnight at Gachhaepani.

  • Day 02: Trek from Gachhaepani to Rajsthal|535m |4-5 Hrs

    Today is the beginning of our trek and we head towards Rajsthal after having breakfast in Gachhaepani. Rajsthal is famous for its ancient history and the remaining ruins of ancient palaces and forts. We cross the Seti Gandaki River and reach Dhulegauda to observe the Tibetan Refugee Camp. You can even see panoramic views of Bhimad, Khairenitar, and Dhulegauda. With the glance at hilly landscapes and lush forests, we walk for around 4-5 hours to reach Rajsthal. Overnight at Rajsthal.

  • Day 03: Trek from Rajsthal to Ghaderi|980m |4-5 hrs

    We start the day early in the morning as we head towards Kolmakot for the amazing Himalayan sunrise view. We enjoy the panoramic sight of golden sun rays on the face of the snow-capped mountains. Then, we return to Rajsthal and have our breakfast. We set off for Millennium Cave then through the trail of forests. The natural cave with its unique waterfalls and historical forts allure the gaze of the visitors. The trail then leads to Ghaderi through the suspension bridges and green hills. Overnight at Ghaderi.

  • Day 04: Trek from Ghaderi to Pokharai Chhap (Kolma) |1440m |5-6 Hrs

    After the breakfast with the enchanting rays of sunlight, we begin our trekking towards Pokharai Chhap. The western heart of Kolma is a cradle for culture and incredible hospitality. With the melody of green old forests, hilly landscapes and view of snow-capped mountains; the trail takes us to Pokharai Chhap. We get to learn and indulge in the local culture, food, and way of life. Overnight at Pokharai Chhap.  

  • Day 05: Trek from Kolma to Pelkachaur |1439m| via Rang bhang |6-7 hrs

    This is one of the longest days of the trekking and we begin it with an early breakfast in the morning. We start our journey towards Pelkachaur. The pleasant trail leads us through dazzling green forests with a variety of vegetation and wildlife. We cross through the Rang bhang village and observe the unique way of life and settlement. The Pelkachaur village is culturally rich with several tribes residing in the place. We spend our night at Pelkachaur. Overnight in Pelkachaur.

  • Day 06: Trek from Pelkachaur to Majhkot |1602m

    Today, we set off for Majhkot after having breakfast with the Himalayas. The trail leads through similar hilly landscapes and numerous waterfalls. The cloak of green hills stunningly covers the valley like the village of Majhkot. This village is beautifully decorated with green hills. The local culture and lifestyle of Majhkot are authentic and with its diversity. We spend the night in the homely hospitality of Majhkot.

  • Day 07: Trek from Majhkot to Rambachha via Gahate Manakamana |5-6 hrs

    This is the last day of our trekking and we head towards Rambachha through the popular Hindu temple, Gahate Manakamana. We walk through flatlands today surrounded in the arms of hilly landscapes. We pass the villages settled with various ethnic groups and visit the religious heritage of Gahate Manakamana. The tranquil trek then leads us to Rambachha where we end the amazing trekking experience. Overnight at Rambachha.

  • Day 08: Drive from Rambachha to Pokhara |2-3 Hrs | Pokhara Sightseeing

    We take the bus from Rambachha and head for Pokhara city. The travel takes around 2- 3 hours getting us enough time to explore around the city. After checking in the hotel and refreshing the body, we enjoy the stunning beauty of Pokhara city. We visit Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, Gupteswor Cave, and Begnas Lake and spend our evening in the pleasantness of Few Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

     

  • Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu|7 Hrs

    With an early morning breakfast in Pokhara, we board the bus heading to Kathmandu. Through the bends of Trishuli and Marsayangdi, we pass the hilly rural landscapes and beautiful settlements. We reach Kathmandu after some 7 hours’ drive. We then check in to the hotel and get some refreshments. Overnight in Kathmandu

  • Day 10: Departure

    Our company representative drops you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) before your scheduled flight time. We take you in a private vehicle with all your backpacks letting you time to explore the city before departure. We wave you farewell and good wishes for the further journey. We look forward to serving you again in your next visit to the Himalayas.
