The 9 days Langtang valley trek is one of the popular, adventure trekking destination in Nepal. Its also as known as Langtang Base camp trek, the explore Langtang valley, Langtang Base camp, glacier climbing acending Kynjin Ri. And Tserkori peak. A splendid trekking area is quite closed to Kathmandu valley, the Langtang valley trek start with the alpine forest line. The Lantang trek is start fro the Dhunche and end it at the Syprubensi. We move from Kathmandu Dhunche by Bus and return back same ways. On this 9 day trek you will take you to the Mountain Langtang Lirung called Kyanjing Gompa via Thulo Syabru village & return back to Sybrubensi. The Langtang trek route was badly effected by Earthquake on 2015 and it was closed approximately 2 years for reconstruction purposed.
Now, it is completely safe for trek, entire villagers have been resettled in their village. In this trek you can observe cultural heritage of Sherpa community along with panoramic view of several mountains.

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche(1960m,7 hours)
Go by local transport along the northwestern hills of Kathmandu to Dhunche. Enjoy the Himalayan views and mountainous lifestyle as you pass the terraced fields and rustic villages.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 2: Trek Dhunche to Thulo Syabru(2250m,5 hours)
This is your first day of trekking. Start by road for 1 hour following the flushing Trishuli River on your left-hand side. Meantime you can have occasional views of the Langtang and Tibetan ranges. Leave the road from Bharkhu and ascend towards Thulo Syabru, which is followed, by apple farms and pine forests. The trail is mostly uphill but not steep. After passing a few settlements, you will be at Thulo Syabru.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 3: Trek Thulo Syabru to Lama Hotel(2340m,6 hours).
The day begins with down hill walking until you reach a suspension bridge, which allows you to cross one of the streams of Langtang River. The trail is then gradual for the next hour and you will be able to see a glimpse of Langtang himal. From here the trail goes steep down to Pairo Besi, a small village located at the bank of Langtang River and at the ridge of a huge cliff. Follow the Langtang Khola and Pass through the dense forest. After reaching Bamboo get ready for the final countdown of the day. Now the trail ascends with lots of stairways until the Lama Hotel.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 4: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley(3430m,6 hours)
Continue your trek to Langtang village via Ghore Tabela. You can experience the marvellous views of Langtang Lirung. Pass by water mills, prayer wheels and chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks and inscriptions carved on them. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 5: Trek Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa(3837m,4 hours).
The trail climbs gradually passing through the tiny villages, yak pastures, stone-built houses, and chorten and then passes a huge mani along a gentle path of hill. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyanjin. Today’s hike is short, allowing time to your body to acclimatize and for you to explore the surrounding a. It is a dramatic setting, with snow covered peaks surrounding you in all directions. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Dorje Larpa, Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung and several other peaks. You can explore the monastery and the cheese factory if you prefer.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 6: Kyanjin Gomba rest day. If you prefer, do a day hike to Tserko Ri(4984m,8 hours)
Get ready for a day hike to Tserku Ri, the highest elevation of the whole trek. This hike will take the whole day as you ascend and descend. But the alpine of this hike will help you to look beyond the exhaustions. It’s truly magical and beautiful.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa trek to Lama Hotel(2340m,5 hours)
From Kyanjin you retrace the route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and onwards to Lama Hotel. Enjoy the downhill walk and the fantastic views of mountain if you missed it on the way up.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 8: Trek Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi(1467m,5 hours)
Downhill walk following the river and forest to Syabru Bensi where you spend the last night.Overnight: Tea House.

Day 9: Drive Syabru Besi – Kathmandu(8 hours).
Early morning you start your drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the scenic foothills and ridgeline on the way.Overnight: Tea House.
