Druk Path trek is one of the famous trek in Bhutan. This trek leads up to 4,000m in altitude which is not so difficult because its walking distance is not so long from one camp to another. This trek  is run on  Campion basis This trek is famous for its amazing rhododendron forest, forest of fir, wonderful lake teeming with fish, beautiful views of mountains and Phadjoding Monestary are the climax of this trek .

  • Day 01: Arrival at Paro

    On arrival at Paro our representative will pick you and transfers you to the hotel . Overnight at hotel in Paro. Evening guide will brief you about your programs.

  • Day 02: Paro-Jili Dzong(3,480m)(4-5 Hours)

    Today you will start your Trek from Ta Dzong(National Museum)  in Paro. And it is quiet hard because you have to climb more than 1,000 elevations. The trek follows a gravel road for about 30 minutes and climb up the steep ridge before leading through the blue pine and forest to Damche Gom. Once you reach the ridge below Jiling Dzog you will descends about 100m to campsite below Jiling Dzong .Overnight at Camp.

  • Day03: Jiling Dzong -Jangchulakha(3,770m)(4-5 hours)

    You will start your day with a steep climb for about 1:30 hours. This trial takes you through thick alpine forests and dwarf rhododendron trees. You can see the yaks gazing around your campsite.Overnight at Camp.

  • Day 04: Jangchulakha-Jimgelang Tsho.(3,870m)(4 hours)

    This trial follow the ridge and on a clear day the mountain and valleys are stunning. Our camp will be close to Jimgelang Tsho Lake which is also well known for its giant size trout. Overnight at Camp.

  • Day 05: Jimgelang Tsho-Simkotra Tsho (4,110m)(4 hours)

    This  trail takes you through dwarf rhododendron trees and past Janetso Lake. You may come across some yak herder camps where you will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of a nomad’s life. The campsite is close to Simkotra Tsho Lake. Overnight at Camp.

  • Day 06: Simkotra Tsho-Phajodding (3,750m)(3-4 hours)

    The day begins with a gradual climb. If the weather permits, you will have a spectacular view of Mount Gangkar Puensum, the highest mountain in Bhutan and several other Himalayan peaks. From this pass, the trek takes you downhill towards Phajodhing where you will halt for the night. The camp is located just above Phadjoding Monastery.

  • Day 07: Phajodding-Mothitang(1,130m)(4-5 hours)

    After passing Phadjoding monastery, the trek to Thimphu (Mothitang) is downhill through a forested area of mostly blue pine. The walk, at a leisurely pace, takes about three hours. Overnight at Camp in Mothitang.

  • Day  08: Mothitang-Thimpu/Paro

    The Druk Path finishes at the Bhutan Broadcast Service (BBS) Telecommunication Tower, offering great view of the city of Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel in Paro .

  • Day 09: Departure

    Departure to your onward destination.
