Along with the Himalayas and remarkable assortment of culture, Nepal is also known for its biodiversity. As such, the best place to explore the diverse flora and fauna is Chitwan National Park. The national park is famous for Bengal tigers, Asiatic elephants, and one-horned rhino along with over 500 species of birds. The Chitwan Jungle Safari takes you to the natural UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Chitwan National Park and ensures plenty of interaction with local nature and culture.

The 6-day Chitwan Jungle Safari starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. Then, you explore the historic cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan in the next two days. You will visit UNESCO world’s heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square. After completing the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, you head to Chitwan where you can experience the unique culture of Tharu people. You can enjoy and explore the flora and fauna of Chitwan National Park for a whole day. In addition to being the first national park of Nepal, it is home to more than 50 species of flora and 700 species of fauna. It includes one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Asiatic elephants, sloth bears, deer, and Gharial. Additionally, you can also boat on the Rapti River to enjoy the sightings of the mugger crocodiles and Gharial. You also visit elephant breeding center of the national park. Afterward, you return to Kathmandu and bring the trip to an end. Chitwan welcomes you all year round but the spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) is the best time to enjoy to the fullest. During summer, the temperature rises to maximum levels while during winter fogs may prove to be an obstacle due to which it may not be favorable for you.
