This trip is very enjoyable because it covers all three famous historical sites of Lhasa like Potala palace, Jokhang Temple and Bakor Street and other three major monasteries of Tibet Drepung Monastery, Sera monastery and Ganden Monastery. Apart from that you will have opportunity to trek Lingkor (circle) and see the Great Tsongkapa’s meditation cave.

However the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China Tibet Tourism Bureau, Peoples Army and Foreign Affair. related organisation will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, and Political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, Delay due to shortage of Land Cruiser Jeep in Tibet, sickness or Accident. Any extra cost that shall be borne by traveler themselves.
Document:
Minimum 6 months valid passport scanned colour passport copy both front and back at the time of booking and two copies of pp size 33x 48mm white back ground, covering both Ears, fresh colour-full photograph & original physical passport must be reached at Delhi office, before 8 days of your departure to Kathmandu . A normal health certificate from your personal doctor to those who are 50 years and above by age.
Fitness:
This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this tour if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult to their doctor. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.
Food
Daily breakfat will be served by our company where as lunch and dinner you can have it either same Hotel in best available local restaurant, Beside that we advice you to bring dry fruits and cookies to have personally.
Temperatures
As the temperature varies greatly between day and night (from max. 20 degrees Celsius to min. -16 degrees Celsius) one should prepare accordingly.
Bring the following items with you:
Woollen gloves, Balaclava, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woollen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirt & normal sport shoes,Towel, down jackets .
Insurance:
Full travel insurance coverage for medicine, Helicopter evacuation if in case of emergency, lost of belongs, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended.
Trip booking:
Minimum 45 days advance booking is required to arrange visa approval and Travel permit issue. We need 70% Tour payment before 45 days of your departure date and rest you can pay after visa here in Kathmandu.
Tour Cancellation policy
- All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in written.
- Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.
- 30 days before trip departure 15% of total trip cost.
- 15 days before trip departure 45 % of total trip cost.
- 7 days before trip departure 70 % of total trip cost.
- 3 days before trip departure 80 % of total trip cost.
- Once client arrive in Kathmandu no refund will be made
- Above rules are applicable as per the rules and regulation of Tibet Autonomous Region Foreign Exchange Center. (FEC )

Day 1: Kathmandu-Lhasa (3,650m)
On arrival at Lhasa, Our representative the local tour guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Acclimatize the high altitude in the hotel. Overnight in hotel at Lhasa on BB Plan .

Day 2: Lhasa Sightseeing
Today we will begin our tour from UNESCO World Heritage site – Potala Palace, which is also the winter palace of Dalai Lama. It’s situated at 12,139 feet above sea level. It’s a 13-story high building that contains over 1,000 rooms, various statues, Stupas, murals and artifacts.Later,continue to Jokhang Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s a spiritual center for Buddhists in Tibet. Next to the temple, there is Bakhor Street, filled with pilgrims and street vendors, selling traditional Tibetan items such as prayer wheels and jewelry. Overnight in Hotel at Lhasa on BB Basis.

Day 3: Lhasa Sightseeing
In the morning, you are going to visit Drepung monastery which was one of the “three greet” Gelug monasteries of Tibet and was founded in 1416. Ganden palace is used as Dalai Lama’s palace in the Drepung before moving to the Potala palace. Afternoon you will visit Sera Monastery.It was one of the “three great” Gelug monasteries of Tibet and was founded in 1419. The highlight is the Monks debate at around 3pm – 5pm in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel at Lhasa on BB Basis.

Day 4: Lhasa-Ganden -Lhasa
After the breakfast of the day ,drive to the Ganden Monastery which is one of the “Great Three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The main sight is Serdung, which contains the tomb of Tsongkhapa. It is very interesting to trek Lingkor (circle around the monastery) and you can also see the Great Tsongkapa’s meditation cave containing many religious statues, and enjoy the beautiful view of Lhasa valley. Overnight in Hotel at Lhasa on BB basis .

Day 5: Depart from Lhasa
With short visit now it’s your time to say good bye to Lhasa city with lots of memories .Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your onward destination.
