Overview

One of the most calming experiences around cycling through the picturesque hilly landscapes is an unforgettable adventure rarely mirrored by anything else. Swinging through the wide jungle tracks heading in and out of vibrant hamlets while also enjoying the exquisite views of the Himalayas is often unmatched. And if you have been a part of any cycling experience through the folds of Hilly Nepal you know exactly what we are talking about. One to be enjoyed in its purest form, the Kathmandu Kakani Chisapani Mountain Cycling tour takes you to some of the most stunning hamlets, lush green forests and pleasant jungle tracks adorned with views of Himalayas. And while the main selling point of the trek is the cycling experience, the beauty of vibrant hamlets is not the one to be ignored. All in all, this amazing adventure provides you everything you hope to get out of a cycling tour with a bonus of stunning Hilly landscapes.

Our cycling adventure begins from the valley as we make our way towards Kakani, located 25kms away from the capital city. Through the stunning jungle tracks, the journey for our first day offers a balanced section of ascending and descending routes and scheduled breaks for refueling. Known for its camping facility and stunning early morning views, Kakani is a perfect place to end our adventure for the day. For the next part of our journey, the route covers 67kms reaching the hamlet at Chisapani for the night. This region lies in the famous Shivapuri National park and the morning, one can witness the glorious sunrise that illuminates the breath-taking mountains and green hills.

Ascending through the jungle trail, we reach Nagarkot next which is well known for its stunning Himalayan views. The final day of our journey begins with views of the majestic Himalayas accommodating 8 different Himalayan ranges. Past Nagarkot, the journey descends for its majority heading back to Kathmandu.

We here at Miteri Nepal have been around the travel scene for around a decade and the trust of our clients speaks for itself. We are constantly on the lookout for making sure that you get nothing but the very best of our services. For this trip, your safety and well-being take precedence while also making sure you enjoy the journey to the fullest.
