The Last Resort bungee jump over the Bhote Koshi River is perhaps the most popular bungee jumping location in Nepal. It is a little over 3 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. The jump location is on a bridge which is 160 meters above the frighteningly wild river. The jump is thrilling as it is but the view from the top makes the excitement increased by ten folds. Moreover, this bungee jump also offers the longest freefall in the world. It is also the nearest bungee jumping spot from Kathmandu. Another of the spots for Bungee jumping in Nepal is at Hemja, Pokhara. Your trip will start with a 45-minute drive from the Lakeside to Hemja where you will make the bungee jump. This 80-meter high water touch bungee jump is perfect for providing you a thrill for a lifetime. The best thing about doing this activity in Pokhara is that you will get to roam around the beautiful valley as well. After your thrilling jump, you will have to take a short trip back to the top as you ride down your adrenaline enjoying the hills of Pokhara. Bungee jumping can be done throughout the year but rainy season can be avoided to do the bungee jump.

Itinerary

Day 01

In Pokhara

he drive from the lakeside of Pokhara to Hemja will take you about 45 minutes. You can enjoy your breakfast at Lakeside or you can rather enjoy it in one of the restaurants near Hemja. The staffs and trainers will give you instructions and make you sign on paper works for your protection. After the jump, you will have to hike back a short trail to Hemja. The whole process will take you about 2 to 3 hours after which you can take a short drive back to the Lakeside.

In Last Resort

It is around a 3-4 hour ride from Kathmandu to the Last Resort. You can either travel late to stay overnight in the resort or drive directly to the jumping place. If you stay overnight then you can take a short trek along the riverside and the small bazaar. If not then you can start the training for the jump. After the activities are over, you can take a ride back to Kathmandu which takes another 3 to 4 hours.
