Essential Info

• This is an aerial darshan only; no landing at Mount Kailash or Lake Mansarovar
• Darshan is weather-dependent and subject to flight permission and visibility
• Original passport with valid visa/permits is mandatory
• Participants should be in good general health due to high-altitude flying
• Altitude sickness precautions are advised, even though there is no trekking
• Flight routes may change based on weather and air traffic regulations
• Early morning departures are common for better visibility
• Photography is allowed, but subject to aviation and security guidelines
• Program schedule may change due to climatic or operational reasons

Additional Information:

• The Kailash mountain flight operates from Nepalgunj. In case of bad weather, flights will be rescheduled until visibility is clear.
• Extra night stay in Nepalgunj: INR 3,500 per person per night (twin sharing, all meals included).
• The tour operator is not responsible for flight delays or cancellations due to weather or other operational reasons. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided in such cases.
• Transportation is provided in AC vehicles on a sharing basis as per the itinerary. Private transfers are available at an additional cost.
• It is strongly recommended to purchase insured air tickets due to the unpredictable weather in the Kailash region.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellations More Than 30 Days Before Departure

• 10% of the total package cost will be retained as a cancellation fee.
• The remaining amount will be refunded.

2. Cancellations Between 30–15 Days Before Departure

• A fixed booking amount of INR 15,000 will be retained.
• The remaining amount will be refunded.

3. Cancellations Between 14–10 Days Before Departure

• 80% of the package cost is non-refundable.
• Only 20% of the cost will be refunded.

4. Cancellations Within 9 Days of Departure

• No refund will be provided.

Flight Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Due to Bad Weather

• If the flight is canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for the next day.
• If the next day’s flight is also canceled, a partial refund of INR 23,000 will be issued within 7 working days.
• No refund will be given if the flight operates but Mount Kailash is not visible.

2. Due to Technical Issues

• The airline will arrange the next available flight on the following day at no extra cost.
• If the flight cannot operate the next day, a refund of INR 23,000 will be issued within 7 working days.
• No alternative flights will be arranged with other airlines, as these are chartered flights.

Airfare / Package Cost Increase Policy

• Airlines and hotels may increase fares or package costs without prior notice.
• Any extra costs due to government taxes, fuel charges, or levies will be collected before departure.
• The tour operator is not responsible for losses or inconvenience caused by fare increases.
• Miteri Nepal International Trekking reserves the right to modify, amend, or cancel the tour partially or fully at any time.
• If the tour is postponed or canceled by the operator, participants may choose the next available dates or receive a full refund within 21 working days.
• The tour operator is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from tour changes, amendments, or cancellations.
• By booking, participants acknowledge and accept all terms, including the cancellation and refund policies.
