Langtang valley is one of the closest trekking destinations from the capital, Kathmandu. The admirers of this heavenly valley are surrounded by towering mountains, mainly, Langtang Lirung (7234m), have described this place as one of the best valleys in the world. Besides spectacular mountain views, Langtang also has a lot of diversity in wildlife and vegetation. If you wish to drown in the allure of snow-laden mountains and prevalent Tamang culture and traditions, then the Langtang valley trek is the road you must choose.
This amazing trek starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. Our representatives will receive you at the airport and guide you to your hotel. In the evening, our guide will introduce you to the team and we enjoy the welcome dinner together. The following day, our well-experienced tour guide will guide you for a sightseeing tour to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple, and the Swayambhunath Stupa. From here, we head to Sybrubensi; the starting point of the trek. The next day, we begin our trek by following the bluish Langtang River flowing through the lusty green forests of the Langtang National Park. We pass through many teahouses and hotels on the way until we arrive at the Langtang village. Langtang village is a beautiful village with great views of Mt. Langtang-Lirung alongside colorful hotels and lodges that makes this valley picturesque. We move forward to Kyanjin Gompa: the last human settlement in the valley of Langtang. Here, lies a 400-year-old Gumba which has major importance to the locals residing here. Tserko Ri is another famous viewpoint that offers delightful 360º view of many mountains including Langtang Lirung, Ganesh, Tibetan range and many more. You can also enjoy the tasty Italian coffee in Kyanjin Gompa. That’s quite an experience, enjoying coffee at the altitude of 3840m. The Tamang people living here are known for their hospitality. After visiting the Kyanjin Gompa, we make our way back to Lama Hotel, then to Sybrubensi and ultimately to Kathmandu where this 11-day journey will end.
We, at Miteri Nepal, have been organizing treks to Langtang and other regions since long time. Our experienced tour guides will brief you completely during the trek and ensure that you have a pleasant tour. We offer quality services at unbeatable costs.
