The 9-day Kathmandu-Chitwan-Lumbini-Pokhara Tour will cover all the major landmarks that you need to visit. The tour begins in Kathmandu where you visit the numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. Next, you head to the Chitwan National Park which is also a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will go for jungle safari here where you can spot one-horned rhino, Bengal tigers, and Asiatic Elephants. Next, you head to Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. After visiting Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and monasteries around Lumbini, you drive to Pokhara. It is famous for a scenic view of Annapurna Himalaya range and lakes like Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
After you land on Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a representative of our company will pick you up. You will be dropped off at your designated hotel and briefed about your trip. Afterward, you are free to explore the city as you like. You can also choose to prepare for the tour. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Drive to Nagarkot | 1-2 hrs.
The second day will start early as you begin sightseeing the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple are some of the major destinations for the day. In the evening, you leave for Nagarkot on a short drive of about an hour. Nagarkot is well known for its sunrises, sunsets, and tranquil environment. Overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 3: Nagarkot to Chitwan | 6-7 hrs.
You will rise early in the morning for a sunrise view over the mountains in Langtang, Jugal, and Dorje Lakpa ranges. It offers magnificent panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding landscapes. After enjoying the views, you drive to Chitwan. The drive goes through serpentine highways of Nepal and joins the plains lands as you get near to Chitwan. In Chitwan, you visit Tharu Cultural Museum and attend Tharu cultural show to conclude the day. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 4: Chitwan
After breakfast, the first stop is Chitwan National Park where you take canoe rides and jungle safari. For more nature exploration and bird watching, you can visit Beeshazari Tal (Lake), which is famous for sightings of endangered and vulnerable animals like one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers and white-rumped vulture. The next stop after lunch is the Elephant Breeding Center. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 5: Chitwan to Lumbini | 5-6 hrs.
After breakfast, you will leave Chitwan and head to the Terai belt of Nepal, towards Lumbini. The drive is not too long and upon reaching Lumbini, you can rest for a short time and then, head out to explore Lumbini Museum. The museum showcases the life of Gautam Buddha and various facts about Buddhism. Before dinner, you can explore the local area. Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 6: Half-day Lumbini excursion and departure to Pokhara | 5-6 hrs
Today’s tour will start by visiting the birthplace of Gautam Buddha at Maya Devi Temple. After that, you have much to explore in the Lumbini grounds. Landmarks like Ashoka Pillar, Bodhi Tree, Holy Pond, and various monasteries built by different countries. After lunch, you’ll leave for Pokhara. You can roam around the Lakeside and buy souvenirs in the evening.

Day 7: Pokhara
The day will start with a sunrise view from Sarangkot. It is a short drive away from Pokhara and has a great sunrise view over snowcapped mountains. Then, you head to Barahi Temple via boating in Phewa Lake. Afterward, you visit Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and International Mountaineering Museum. You can also go for paragliding, bungee jumping, zip-lining, or ultra-flight. We suggest visiting Peace Pagoda in the evening, a nice wrap up of Pokhara tour. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu | Farewell dinner | 5-6 hrs.
After breakfast, you will leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu. As you reach around late afternoon, you’ll have a couple of hours for yourself to do as you please. You can do last-minute souvenir shopping or just explore Kathmandu on this day. We will also host a farewell dinner for you in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 9: Departure on your destination
This is the last day of the trip and a company representative will accompany you to the airport to catch the flight home in time. We would love to get some feedback on the trip. We wish you safe travel back home and hope to see you again!
