The word Manasalu comes from Sanskrit word”Manasa’ meaning “intellect” or “soul”. This  trek is also  one of the famous trek in Nepal. It is located in the Gorkha District of Nepal . The Government of Nepal officially permitted the tourist in this region from 1991.Trekking in this region on the tea house basis helps to improve the life style of  local people. This trek follow the ancient trail of Budi Ghandaki. En route to the trek, you can find a mesmerising views of  more than 10 peaks of over 6,500 meters and few of over 7,000 meters. This trek takes you closer to the mountains despite  your short time, you will make it life time event.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

    Upon arrival our representative from Miteri Nepal International Trekking Pvt.Ltd will pick you and transfer you to the hotel Overnight at Hotel In Kathmandu.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

    Today we have sightseeing  of Boudha Stupa,Kathmandu Durbar Square and Shyambhunath .Evening you can pack and prepare for trek .Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu .

  • Day 03: Kathmandu-Arughat-Sotikhola

    Early in the morning we will drive towards Arughat either in the local Bus or in the private Vehicles as per your requirements. The driving distance from Kathmandu to Arughat is approximately 7 hours following smooth highway. But, from Gorkha the road is quiet rough till Arughat. Then we will  begin walking through Lush valleys and rice paddy fields. We follow Budi Gandaki khola (River), climb over the Kyoropani, descent down to the junction of the Budi Gandaki and the Soti Khola. Overnight at Tea house in Soti Khola.

  • Day 04: Sotikhola-Machhi Khola

    Today our trial lead us down narrow densely forested hillsides with some attractive  small stranded villages. Trek though steep valley sides passing Lapbesi village descending down to the river channel and following the wide and sandy path towards Machha Khola (Fish Stream). Overnight at tea house in Machhi Khola . Overnight at tea house in Machi Khola.

  • Day 05: Machhikhola-Jagat (Checkpoint)

    After the breakfast, we cross Machhi Khola, and walk upstream towards Khola Bensi. Enjoy a bath in the hot spring there,  then move along the steep valley sides. The trek goes though a forest path resting for a cup of tea at Doban, then walks to Lauri, where we switch back to the right side of the river through suspension bridge. A little climb and the sight of Jagat’s field will welcome you for night stay .Overnight in tea house at Jagaat.

  • Day 06: Jagat-Dang

    From Jagat we trek  towards Deng. It takes approximately 7 hours walk to Deng village which is made up of just about 4 houses. From Jagat, we descend towards the river through stone steps and then ascend up a terraced hillside, Saguleri where we halt for some time to catch the amazing view of the Sringi Himal (7187m).  Later climb up to Deng for Night halt.

  • Day 07:Dang -Namrung

    Initially, the pat is  flat and  after some time we begin uphill trail throughout the way to Namrung. We walk through forest. Views of Mt. Manaslu, green valley and mountain ranges are fascinating at Namrung. It is a Buddhist village with monasteries, mani walls, chhortens and prayer flags flapping in the sky. Overnight in tea House at Namrung.

  • Day 08: Namrung-Samagaun

    To reach Samagaun from Namrung, you  have to  pass through Banjam, Lihi, Sho, Lho, and Sayla. On the way, before reaching Lho, you will  find one of the famous monetary of this region where more than 200 monks are studying and the unique thing is that there is no nun only monks. The path towards Lihi is steep and marching there will give you the view of fantastic views of Ganesh Himal, North Himchuli and Naike peak in the right. We continue our trip towards Sho and in the corner, we find two ways there, among which one lead to Hinayang monastery and another path leading to Manaslu larkya pass. From Sho, it will take 1:30 minutes to reach Lho and from Lho we trek for 2 hours to reach Sayla. From Sayla, it will take 1 hour to reach Samagaun. From the Syala, you will get the panoramic view of North Himalchuli, Nadi Chuli Manaslu, North Manaslu, Nike peak, Saula Himal, and Siringi himal. Real Yak view is also a major satisfaction to trekker. It is the biggest village which originated about 200 years ago from Tibet and  popular place for commerce .It is also the route to Manaslu Base Camp. Overnight at Smamagaun

  • Day 09: Samagaun-Dharamshala

    After the delicious breakfast, we have to hike about 3 hours (about 15 minutes) steep uphill and flat land, then you will reach your  destination. On the way, you can have views of Syaula Peak, Naike Peak, Manaslu, Himchuli, Larke peak ,Cho peak, West Himchuli  and north-Himchuli. It is the small young village, at the height of 3800m. The place has the facility of electricity as it has its own micro Hydropower Project running in the area. The path to reach there is simple which can be done with simple walk except for some minutes of steep walk. Our journey starts in the morning with a downhill trek up to Budi Gandaki River. Then we cross the river and again march upward through Larkya Bazaar and Valley of Salka Khola towards Dharmasala which is not actually a lodge but an easy place to stay for a night. On the way  sometime we get a chance to see blue sheep. This place is also known Stay Overnight at Dharmasala.

  • Day 10: Dharamshala-Bhimthang

    Our journey of the starts towards north direction where the face of Larkya glacier offers us  amusing view of Larkya peak and Cho Danda as well. From here we begin ascend trail to reach Larkya La Pass. It is the highest point of our entire trek and is perfect place to admire beauty of Nepal with the spark of Cheo himal, Himlung Himal, Kangguru and massive Annapurna II (7,937m). The steep descend ahead guide us to Bhimthang. The trek is relatively longer today as we have to walk a bit more to reach Bimthang where we will spend a night. Overnight in Tea House at Bhimthang

  • Day 11: Bhimthang -Dharapani

    Today, our trail descends to Dudh Khola. We cross through pine and rhododendron forest to reach Dharapani where we halt at Night. Overnight in Tea House at Dharapani.

  • Day 12: Dharapani-Kathmandu.

    From Dharapani we catch Jeep/Bus and drive to Besisahar and from Besisahar we drive on the bank of Marsyagdi river to come back to  Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu you will be check in the Hotel .Evening we will offer you farewell Dinner .Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu .

  • Day 13: Departure

    As per your flight schedule our representative will drop you to the airport for your onward destination .
